Theme: Animal Storytelling Masks
Our "ART GYM" will give children a "creative workout," or a chance to explore different art materials and mediums that they might not
otherwise encounter. This is a process-based approach to the creative experience. It is not structured as a formal lesson, although instructors will be standing by to guide and assist, if needed. The emphasis is on the individual child and his or her unique creative process and inclinations. No two artists will leave with exactly the same work. Parents can drop off or stay and observe quietly, while the children find their own 'flow.' This experience seeks to introduce art as a therapeutic activity that can enhance one's overall health.
Admission is $20.00 per child. Pre-registration is recommended, as space is limited. More information can be found by calling 586-5192.
